Web pages

www.Macmurchie.com - Joe Macmurchie's website runs on his own NT server, which is connected to the Internet through the Shaw@Home service. His website is registered through Register.com, which supports direct DNS entries.  He therefore can run his webserver as Macmurchie.com, getting around some limitations of the normal Shaw@Home service.

bullet

Novatone Independent Records - Rick Macmurchie is hosting a website for his Novatone music activities on his own web server using the same technique as Joe Macmurchie (see above).

bullet

www.JoeTourist.net - Joe Carr is using FrontPage to host a variety of related web sites.  Joe has recently registered some new .ca Domain Names, including: JoeTourist.ca (Tropical travelogues), JoeCarr.ca (personal website), and Carr.ca (Carr family tree). Joe uses the same technique as Joe Macmurchie, running his own web server, but he uses easyDNS.com as his external DNS server.

bullet

Hu Filleul is using Adobe software to compose web pages on his Shaw@Home web space account.  He runs an extensive website, including: the Aircrew Association of Victoria, a Jokes website for his friend Gord, an upcoming 426 Squadron Reunion, and the Gordon Head Lions Club.

bullet

VCUG - Joe Carr has moved these web pages from the Shaw@Home website hosting service to Rick Macmurchie's novatone.net web server.  These are the pages you are now viewing!
